About ETFbit

ETFbit is an independent website that tracks the US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and the public companies that hold Bitcoin on their balance sheets. It is the companion site to @etfbit on X, which posts the daily spot Bitcoin ETF flow numbers every US trading day.

What you'll find here

  • Spot Bitcoin ETF dashboard: daily net flows for every US spot Bitcoin ETF (IBIT, FBTC, GBTC, ARKB, BITB and the rest), week-to-date, 30-day and since-launch totals, prices, assets under management (AUM), fees, and a chart of daily flow history for all funds or any single fund.
  • Bitcoin Treasuries: the largest public companies holding Bitcoin, with BTC held, the live value of those holdings, the 24-hour change in that value, share price, market cap, mNAV and sats per share.
  • News: weekly flow recaps written from our own data, plus selected stories and videos about Bitcoin ETFs.
  • Learn: plain-English guides that explain the numbers on the site.

Where the data comes from

  • Daily net flows: Farside Investors, which publishes each fund's flows after the US market close. We check for new figures several times each weekday evening, again on weekday mornings, and once on Saturday morning.
  • ETF prices and AUM: Nasdaq, with Yahoo Finance as a fallback. Prices refresh about every 5 minutes; AUM a few times a day.
  • Bitcoin price: Coinbase's public live feed in your browser, which updates on every trade, with CoinGecko and Coinbase as server-side sources.
  • Treasury company holdings: CoinGecko's public treasuries data, with share prices and market caps from Nasdaq (US listings) and Yahoo Finance (non-US listings, converted to US dollars).

We never fill in missing numbers. If a fund hasn't reported yet, the day is shown as pending. If a source is down, the site keeps the last good copy and says it's out of date. The "How we calculate this" sections on the dashboard and treasuries page explain each figure.
